What my clients are saying:

  • "First, thank you. I have been eating "normally"/ nutritiously, am maintaining a healthy weight, am no longer afraid of preparing food or eating in public.
I also am even beginning to feel like I belong — the feeling that someone is gonna "find me out" and disqualify me is fading. My life has blossomed as a result of working with you.
Thank you for your compassion and lack of judgment."

  • "Lauren has a healing presence that I noticed on our very first visit. She is warm and created an atmosphere that made me feel comfortable opening up to her. She had a keen intuition about when to introduce new ideas and how to let me wrestle with them to form my own conclusions.
She helped me to dust off and reclaim the part of me that knows exactly how to heal and take care of myself. She is particularly skilled with eating and body image issues. She introduced me to the concepts of Intuitive Eating and helped me to explore the impact that chronic dieting has had on me emotionally and physically.
Because of our work together, I am finding my way to a peaceful relationship with food and my body after a lifetime of disordered eating and body image issues. Her skills with teaching and using DBT have helped me tremendously as I walk through this process."
